Social Emotional Learning at Ethekwini Primary
Who we are

Welcome to the well-rounded school

At our school, we believe in providing our learners with a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academic excellence but also on their social-emotional development and the integration of technology into teaching and learning. We recognize the importance of equipping our learners with the skills they need to thrive in today’s digital world, and that is why we prioritize information communication technology (ICT) in our curriculum.

What we do

Child development
& education

Our educators are trained to incorporate ICT into their lesson plans, ensuring that our learners are exposed to a variety of technological tools and resources. In addition to ICT, we also prioritize social-emotional learning (SEL) to help our learners develop the skills they need to navigate social interactions, manage emotions, and build positive relationships. Our educators are trained to incorporate SEL into their teaching, creating a safe and supportive environment where learners can grow and thrive. We believe that by prioritizing SEL and ICT in our teaching and learning approach, we are providing our learners with the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.
